Lawyer Zhang Wei focuses on antitrust and competition law compliance, monopoly agreements, abuse of market dominance, merger regulation, as well as antitrust and unfair competition investigations. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from East China University of Political Science and Law.
Before joining Dentons Law Firm, Lawyer Zhang Wei worked at the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce and was involved in antitrust legislation and case investigations at the Antitrust and Unfair Competition Enforcement Bureau of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
With 12 years of frontline enforcement experience in government competition enforcement agencies, Lawyer Zhang Wei has rich experience in handling antitrust and unfair competition cases. He was one of the first case handlers in the 'Tetra Pak Antitrust Case' and has also been responsible for investigating other antitrust cases in industries such as medical equipment, communication devices, and flooring. Additionally, as the lead case handler and team leader, Lawyer Zhang Wei has handled numerous commercial bribery cases in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, construction engineering, and international freight forwarding.
