Mrs. Wu Jingjing is a practicing lawyer with more than 20 years of experience in China. She is currently Senior Partner of Dentons Shanghai Offices, Head of Dentons China Aviation and Aerospace Sector, Head of Dentons China Aviation and Space sector, Director of Aviation Law's research sub-branch in China Law Society, Vice Director of Shanghai Financial Leasing Research Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association, and a Member of the Law Establishing Committee of China Democratic National Construction Association, . Mrs. Wu is proficient in the financing and leasing of automobile, shipping and aviation, factoring, bond issuing, as well as syndication loans, asset backed securitizations and cross border guarantees. Mrs. Wu Jingjing has represented and assisted many big leasing companies on the purchasing, leasing, financing and refinancing of more than 80 aircrafts since 2010.
Aircraft Purchase and Leasing
- AVIC International Leasing Co., Ltd. (“AVIC”): Acting for AVIC, one of the biggest state-owned leasing companies in China with an aviation industry background, on cross-border aircraft purchases and leasing with Export Development Canada (“EDC”), Bombardier and China Express Airlines in respect to the Bombardier Challenge 850. It was the first time that a domestic entity obtained aircraft financing from EDC, and also the first time that a domestic leasing entity directly obtained an aircraft leasing loan from a foreign state-level development bank. This case was rewarded 2015 Best Trade Prize by professional legal practice magazine ‘Commercial Law’.
- Minsheng Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (“MSFL”): Advising MSFL on refinancing a loan with respect of four A320 aircrafts with CA-CIB and Korea Development Bank. This case was rewarded 2017 Best Trade Prize by professional legal practice magazine ‘Commercial Law’.
Syndication Loan and Factoring
- Certain Large Leasing Company: Assisting on one RMB 1.5billion syndication loan with factoring financing with 4 domestic banks.
- Certain Large Leasing Company: Assisting on one USD 40million refinancing syndication loan and cross –border guarantee in respect to one aircraft with Taiwanese syndication.
- Certain Large Leasing Company: Assisting on one RMB 0.45billion current syndication loan with one domestic syndication.
