The "Meet in Shanghai, Co-create the Future" Global Promotion Conference was held grandly in Shanghai on September 24, 2025. Chen Tong, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and President of the Shanghai Overseas Friendship Association, attended the event. Also present were Dong Yiwen, Executive Vice President of the Shanghai Overseas Friendship Association and Director of the Shanghai Municipal Government’s Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs; Wang Xiaohan, Vice President of the Shanghai Overseas Friendship Association and Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce; Qi Quansheng, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Chairman of the Shanghai Overseas Chinese Federation; Zhong Xiaoyong, Secretary of the Jing'an District Committee of the CPC; and Zhai Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Jing'an District Committee of the CPC and District Mayor of Jing'an, along with other officials. Nearly 300 participants attended the event, including leaders of overseas Chinese communities, Chinese entrepreneurs, professionals, representatives of organizations involving overseas Chinese, individuals from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as representatives from well-known professional service institutions and enterprises from 32 countries and regions.

Themed "Leveraging Professional Services from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Overseas Chinese to Support Shanghai's 'Five Centers' Initiative", the promotion conference aimed to pool professional expertise from these regions to help Shanghai align with high-standard international economic and trade rules and better represent the nation in global cooperation and competition. During the event, the Shanghai Enterprise Overseas Cooperation Alliance was officially launched. Established under the mechanism of "Overseas Chinese Affairs Office + Federation of Overseas Chinese Associations, Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) ", the alliance adopts a structure of "3 guiding units + 5 supporting units + X alliance partners". It initially brings together 14 overseas partners and 14 Shanghai-based partners, aiming to provide enterprises expanding overseas with six categories comprising 13 services, including initial consultation, project implementation, and resource matching, leveraging overseas Chinese resources and professional expertise to reduce risks and costs associated with international expansion.

As one of the first 14 Shanghai partners of the Shanghai Enterprise Overseas Cooperation Alliance, Chen Jun, Managing Partner of Dacheng Shanghai Law Office, was invited to attend the promotion conference and participate in the launch ceremony.
